As the title states, I am a new character of a former member of the big 5. By this, I mean the former 5 main 0.0 alliances: D2 + north, BoB, ASCN, LV + friends, and RAGoons. I won't tell which one I was from (that in itself is a measure of my commitment and loyalty), but I have severed attachments with them (no hard feelings/malcontent, but it was time to move on) so you don't need to worry about me betraying you for former friends.

I've played this game for ages, both in 0.0 and in empire, running missions and pvping (mostly pvping though). In fact, I've been pvping/ratting so long in 0.0 I can barely remember any other way of life. This is where my problem comes in. I feel as if I haven't experienced enough EVE has to offer me. I've been mulling this over for a while now and I've decided that I want to start over as an industrial character. Note: I've mined before, and, well, it's as boring as sin, so no thanks in that department.

I've never built anything in my entire EVE career, always giving ratting loot to others and then coming back later for a small stack of minerals and/or newly made items. I created this character in order to start down that road. I am also very interested in learning how to manage POS's. Up until now I've only used them to refit, load up, and of course, I've killed them

What I am looking for is a well established and active corp/alliance that is active mostly in 0.0 but also a little in empire. I know my way around this game very well, but not much at all in the industrial aspect, so I'll need some help getting up to speed there. As this is a new character, her SP number is really low right now, but I'm hoping my experience of playing EVE for a long time will bypass any min SP requirements the larger corps have.
